I don’t really know what one has to do with the other. “Ignoring crimes that reinforce sexism and patriarchy (and a whole host of other issues like crimes against LGBTQ and POC) is wrong” is a separate issue than male rape (or crime against cis white men). Male rape does exist, and anyone, no matter what they advocate for or don’t, are idiotic if they believe it doesn’t. That’s just plan stupidity. It doesn’t make one’s concern for the earlier statement any less valid or true though. That’s like saying “Buying burgers without buns is wrong! / Doesn’t buy buns when she gets hot dogs.” Like… what? 

If someone is talking about rape and sexism crimes, and you bring up male rape, you are derailing the conversation. Go start your own conversation about male rape if that’s your concern (somewhere else). If someone is talking about Female or Trans* rape, and/or sexism, then they are specifically Not talking about (cis) male rape and saying ‘Well what about men?’, it is, again, simply derailment. So if she tells you to fuck off, this Does. Not. Mean. she doesn’t think male rape exists. It means she wasn’t fucking talking about male rape and you’ve derailed her concerns! If you wanna talk about male rape, finish this conversation with her, and when it wraps up, if you’re really concerned and not just trying to ignore everything she’s already said, then bring up male rape.
